The fantastic romantic comedies produced by the Punjabi film industry have long been praised, and “Oye Makhna” is a prime example of this. However, the emotional component of this movie distinguishes it from other Punjabi rom-coms and gives it a little extra flair.

We shall discuss each of these accounts individually, beginning with the relationship between Shinda Guggu Gill and Makhan ( Ammy Virk). In the “Qismat” series, Ammy is often shown to be terrified of Guggu Gill because he never accepts their relationship. Guggu, however, is firmly on the side of “Team Ammy” in “Oye Makhna.” Their closeness overshadows practically everything else in the movie, and their new relationship just makes you smile every time.

While Guggu Gill’s comic timing and mischievousness tickle your funny bone on the one hand, his compassion for every innocent soul causes you to sob uncontrollably on the other. Similar to how Ammy Virk initially captures hearts with his charm and humour, subsequent scenes show him slapping himself as a form of self-punishment for hurting his uncle, and that’s when your eyes start to tear up once more. The main highlight of the movie is their performances, both individually and collectively.

Let’s talk about Tania’s portrayal of Rimple, the movie’s female lead, while we’re still on the subject of acting. The fifth film Tania and Ammy have appeared together is this one. In the previous four movies, Tania was either shown as a very gentle, domestic girl or as a young woman who would do anything to catch Ammy’s eye. But this time, things are different. Tania doesn’t seem to care about Ammy’s efforts in this movie. She is portraying a stunning, independent woman who prioritises her job above all else. She is capable of handling herself and is both practical and emotional. In essence, she is a fantastic example of a powerful modern woman rather than your typical damsel in distress.

In addition to these three lead performers, Tarsem Paul, Sukhwinder Chahal, Sidhika Sharma, Deedar Gill, and many others play significant roles in the movie. Each actor faithfully portrayed their role and made care to keep the audience seated in their seats. Every single actor and character in the film had something unique to add to the narrative; not a single one appeared forced into the script.

When it comes to the plot and directing, Simerjit Singh is skilled at maintaining a balance between humour and seriousness. While the idea behind the movie is beautiful in and of itself, the conversation that the script is supported by is simply outstanding. Sincerity be told, there are a few humorous and emotional dialogues in the movie that will stick with you long after it has ended.

Overall, nevertheless, the film is a total entertainer with a fantastic storyline, proper execution, jaw-dropping performances, and not to mention moving music.

Casting and Characters Leading characters in the film are played by Diljit Dosanjh, Sohail Ahmed, Sargun Mehta, Gurpreet Bhangu and Sangtar. Every actor did justice to his/her character and ‘Babe Bhangra Paunde Ne” is becoming complete entertainment package for the audiences .

Acting There is no doubt in this fact that Sargun Mehta and Diljit Dosanjh both are best actors of today’s era. Moreover, hatts off to Sohail Ahmed who just nailed his character and impressed the audiences with every dialogue and every second of his screen presence.

Storyline/Direction Amarjit Singh Saro did his job at his best efforts and did every single thing carefully. He not only did best efforts in casting and manage screen space for every character very splendidly . Without spoiling your suspence about the story of the movie we can say that the screenplay of this movie is so engaging that you can not even miss a second to watch. According to the tagline “Old is Bold,” this film is about old folks who are carefree and bold, and it features several original concepts for Punjabi cinema.

Speaking of the movie’s credits, one of the top comedy film writers in the Punjabi industry, Naresh Kathooria, wrote the story. The director of this film is Amarjit Singh Saron. Daljit Thind and Diljit Dosanjh provided the financial backing for Babbe Bhangra Paunde Ne. Just watched ‘Moh’ today and once again felt that Jagdeep Sidhu is one of the finest Directors in the Pollywood today. Jagdeep did amazing job in terms of technical and creative things. Shayris come in between the dialogues become so much relatable to the people who just experienced true love or heartbreak. Jaani’s Lyrics and B Praak’s Music and voice working as Cherry on the Cake.

Moreover, we can say “Moh” is movie which is a proof that Punjabi cinema is becoming so much experimenting with the time. Now come to the characters, Sargun Mehta was beyond expectations and impressed the audience with her ultimate dialogue delivery and screen presence as always. Gitaaj Bindrakhiya is an example that one can make his place in the industry from the very first film as well. Apart from this, Prakash Gadhu did amazing work and Amrit Amby’s work is also worth appreciation.

In a crux we would like to say that Jagdeep Sidhu is doing in his niche and know the taste of audiences. Once again eyes were wet after watching Jagdeep Sidhu’s directorial movie. Last but the not the least, story credit goes to Shiv Tarsem Singh & Govind Singh, both of them penned such a heartfelt story with deep touch of emotions you cant even have an idea that this is their first ever story. The film stars Singer and Actor Gurnaam Bhullar and Neeru Bajwa in the main lead roles, The movie also stars Rupinder Rupi, Gurpreet Bhangu, Baljinder Kaur, and others. The film is created and directed by Santosh Shubash Thite & Bhanu Thakur.

The movie has the storyline of a 40-year-old female who is been played by Neeru Bajwa who is also the producer of the movie itself. In her midlife time, the character named “Ajuni” struggles to find a potential mate for herself, considering her age and the fact that she is not finding anyone suitable and sensible in her similar age group, then she comes across a guy one day and fall in love with him.

Now the question arises would she be able to digest the fact that there’s a massive age gap of around 17 years between them and would the boy named “Akaal” played by Gurnam Bhullar accept her as she is or will society accept them by end of their unpredictable love story. This is an extreme family entertainer so any age group from anywhere can easily understand and enjoy it, going with your family is what’s most preferred.

Although the movie is shorter in length, and cool with its idea and the execution, at some points, it feels slow. The performance driven by actors is pretty amazing yet at some points, a few scenes feel eternal and weird at the same time for example “guy’s mother”

in the final stance movies get back on track with emotions and the power of true love no matter how society will judge, it leaves a deeper yet soulful impact on us as audiences. This movie is a good family entertainer. So if you go out on Sundays just to have fun, this is what you should be looking after but leave your expectations at home because that may ruin your experience.

I am going with 3.5 out 5 stars for the film, So folks this is all for the movie “Kokka” is a serious yet genuine eye-opener that defines throughout the movie that no matter what “Age is just a number, If you are looking for a light film you can watch the films in the cinema halls near you.

What to start with and what not to, the entire movie is a treat to be consumed. Let us start with the commendable performances of the actors. Gurnam Bhullar! This guy has put his soul and body into this film. Not just physically, Gurnam has totally impressed us as Rajveer, with his purest and best acting so far. ‘Lekh’ can surely be considered as the life-changing movie for Gurnam. We proudly say that we have Gurnam Bhullar as an ‘actor’ with us in our Punjabi industry. And, seeing him in the movie, made us fall for him even more as each minute passed by. His looks as a school guy and as a broken and healthy guy in the movie are that differentiates a lot more about his in depth love for the character. 

Tania aka Raunak on the other hand needs an absolute appreciation too. Her teenage and adulthood looks in the films are a little less differentiable but the amount of hard work she has done for her weight is sure to be applauded. She looks superbly cute, adorable and pretty & she made sure that she is liked by the audience and especially the guys. The trailer depicts the story of the film, of how the school going teenagers meet and fall in love, then part their ways and destiny again makes them stand in front of each other. Relax, this is not just what this film has. It has a lot more to watch out for and to cry your heart loud for. Tania and Gurnam have turned out to be the honest on-screen couple with Lekh. 

The level of intimacy that this man creates with the audience, their emotions and the story of the film. Yes, Jagdeep Sidhu is the man. How to emotionally affect the audience and how to make them cry is what Jagdeep has taken a Phd degree at. Nothing, but we have a lot to complain about to this man and why he makes us more and more emotional with each movie he is making. God knows what he thinks and writes these kinds of stories that affect the viewers internally and for a lifetime.

Kaka Kautki is another star that has shined out throughout the movie. Playing the character of Gurnam’s father in the movie is what only he could have given justice to. The very joyous character and the very chilled out character throughout the movie was, Kaka Kautki. Seeing him smiling and cracking jokes gave the audience a reason to cry. Watching him and then realising that this character is not anymore with us in real life. This will definitely be one of the most remembered characters of Kaka and why not. 

Jagdeep Sidhu’s beautiful pen has been handled by the director of Lekh, Manvir Brar very beautifully. Lekh is Manvir’s debut movie as a director and he has spread the sparkles with the first one. In other words, it’s a sixer on the first ball. Nothing extraordinary has been depicted in the movie but the way Lekh has been presented is that it is ‘extraordinary’. The blissful and commendable story is amazingly presented by Manvir Brar for the audience. We definitely wish to see more of Manvir’s movies soon. 

Wait, it isn’t over yet. We have reached the point you were thinking of so far. The musical ride of the film! B Praak and Jaani are not appreciated in veil. They actually are superb and have given their best in this beautiful film. You might have heard the songs of Lekh beforehand and of course loved them. But watching and experiencing the same songs in the theatre while connecting them to the story is everything you needed in a while. The musical section gets upon points.

Lekh is undeniably a must watch movie for everyone and is to be kept in the watchlist and probably in the favourite movies list. This is one such movie in recent times in the Punjabi cinema that was needed wholeheartedly. We have nothing but a warm Thanks to the entire team of the movie. A little more appreciation to Gurnam Bhullar, Jagdeep Sidhu and Manvir Brar. Resting the review, you should unquestionably watch Lekh in cinemas.
