Recently, the producers of the upcoming Punjabi film Junior published the Pre-Teaser. According to the tagline and the teaser, the Punjabi cinema industry is in a new era. As the teaser shows, one cannot immediately tell that it is a Punjabi movie due to the Hollywood and Bollywood-style treatment. The teaser gives us chills and leaves us with the impression that this film would redefine standards in the Punjabi film industry. In fact, the Punjabi industry is entering a new era.
First, let’s discuss the cast. We will see Amiek Virk, Srishti Jain, Kabir Bedi, Yograj Singh, P. D. Rawat, Pardeep Cheema, Ajay Jethi, Ronny Singh, Ram Aujla, Kabir Singh, Rana Jasleen and others play important roles in this film. Amiek Virk is also credited with creating the script and the dialogue for the film in addition to writing the story. It demonstrates how hard Amiek worked on this movie alone.
However, Harman Dhillon and Team Nadar Films are in charge of “Junior”, movie is helmed by them. ‘Junior’ is also co-produced by Joban Josan and Jatinder Virk, and it is funded by Amiek Virk and Birendra Kaur. Shamsher Singh is ‘Junior’s’ Executive Producer. Therefore, on August 18, 2023, “Junior” will be released under the Nadar Films banner.
