Haryana, India: Rajan Sharma, a young fitness entrepreneur and international powerlifter from Naraingarh, Haryana, is gaining recognition in India’s bodybuilding and strength sports community through a combination of competitive achievements, coaching, and entrepreneurship. At just 24 years of age, Sharma has built a career that spans bodybuilding, powerlifting, athlete coaching, and gym management, earning attention for his consistent performances and commitment to promoting fitness.
Born on 13 November 2001, Sharma developed an interest in physical fitness during his school years. What began as a personal passion gradually evolved into a professional journey marked by years of disciplined training and participation in bodybuilding competitions. Despite coming from a middle-class family, he continued pursuing his athletic ambitions while also completing higher education in multiple fields.
His academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Civil Engineering, a Bachelor of Science (Non-Medical), a Diploma in Civil Engineering, a Master of Science in Environmental Science, and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB). Alongside his formal education, he also obtained certifications as a fitness trainer, strength and conditioning coach, and sports nutrition specialist, enabling him to combine scientific knowledge with practical coaching.
Sharma’s competitive career has seen several notable milestones. He earned the title of Mr. India 2021, followed by victory at Muscle Mania India 2021, achievements that helped establish his reputation in Indian bodybuilding circles. His profile expanded further after securing the Mr. World 2023 title, a victory that brought him wider recognition among fitness enthusiasts and aspiring athletes.
In addition to these accomplishments, Sharma has won the Mr. Asia title twice and has been crowned Mr. North India on three occasions. His achievements also include titles such as Mr. Haryana and Mr. Tricity, reflecting his consistent performances across regional and national bodybuilding competitions.
Beyond bodybuilding, Sharma has also developed a successful career in powerlifting. As an international powerlifter, he has represented India in strength sports and has reportedly qualified for the World Powerlifting Championship 2025, marking another significant step in his sporting career.
Away from competition, Sharma is equally recognized for his contribution to fitness coaching. At the age of just 18, he established KR Armour Gym, where he currently serves as Owner and Head Coach. The fitness center provides training in bodybuilding, powerlifting, strength conditioning, weight management, and sports nutrition. According to Sharma, the primary objective of the gym is to help individuals improve both their physical health and overall confidence through structured fitness programs.
His coaching philosophy emphasizes discipline, consistency, and long-term progress rather than quick results. Over the years, he has worked with aspiring bodybuilders, competitive powerlifters, and individuals seeking healthier lifestyles, designing customized training and nutrition plans suited to different fitness goals.
Sharma has also received recognition outside competitive sports. He was honored with an Appreciation Award from the International Book of Records and holds a Guinness World Records Participation Certificate, acknowledgements that have added to his growing profile within the fitness community.
Speaking about his journey, Sharma has consistently highlighted the importance of perseverance and continuous learning. He believes success is achieved through dedication, disciplined practice, and the willingness to improve every day. His story—from establishing a gym as a teenager to earning international bodybuilding titles—has inspired many young fitness enthusiasts, particularly in northern India.
As interest in bodybuilding, powerlifting, and professional fitness continues to grow across the country, Rajan Sharma’s achievements illustrate the increasing opportunities available to athletes willing to combine education, entrepreneurship, and competitive sports. With ambitions to continue competing internationally while expanding athlete development through KR Armour Gym, Sharma remains focused on contributing to India’s evolving fitness landscape.
